How I came to masonry in Lincoln
I grew up on a family farm, where if something broke, you figured out why it broke and then fixed it yourself. That habit came with me into masonry. I learned the trade working alongside other masons around Lincoln, and in 2021 I started Mastercraft Lincoln Concrete and Masonry so I could run jobs the way I thought they ought to be run.
Most of the calls I get as a masonry contractor in Lincoln are about mortar joints that are crumbling, a chimney that leaks or a wall that's started to crack or lean. We're best known for repair work on brick homes, chimneys and foundations, and we build new walls, walks and outdoor kitchens too. You'll find the full list of what we do on our home page. I care most about fixing what caused the damage and not just the crack you can see, because a patch over a leak is money that washes away.
What working with our crew is like
Here's what you'll notice when we take on your job. These are the same things I'd want from a mason if it were my own house.
We find out why it failed
Before we quote a repair, we look for what caused it, whether that's water getting in, the wrong mortar or a wall that's moving. We fix that along with the damage, so the repair has a real chance to hold.
New mortar that matches your old brick
We match new mortar and brick to what's already on your house, so the repair blends in instead of standing out. That matters most on older brick, because mortar that's harder than the brick around it can wear the brick down over time.
A straight answer on what can wait
If a smaller repair will do the job, or something can safely wait, I'll tell you plainly. I'd rather sell you less work than talk you into a job you don't need.
What happens after you call us
From your first call to the final walk through, you deal with me, the owner. Here's how a job usually runs with us.
Call or send the form
Call (402) 202-7624 or fill out our contact form with a few words about what you're seeing. We reply within one business day to set up a time to come take a look.
Walk the job with me
I come out myself, look at the damage and what's behind it, and write the estimate on site. It's free and there's no pressure to book, and the person who quoted your job is the one answering for it.
Let our crew do the work
We're licensed and insured, and when a job needs a permit, we handle the application with the right city or county office and set up the inspections. Our own small crew does the work with me on site, and I walk through the finished job with you.

A crack or loose joint usually lets in more water the longer it sits. Call (402) 202-7624 or use our contact form, and we'll reply within one business day to set up a free look.
